Jealousy is an emotion that is composed of negative feelings such as insecurity, anxiety, and fear due to expected loss of something. It is most seen in human relationships where one party is holding feelings of resentment, anger, and disgust over the perceived unfaithfulness of the other.

- Need for constant communication
You are so paranoid on what your partner might be doing all the time that you require him/her to report to you every single thing he/she is doing. Calling/texting every minute or so.
Due to your feelings of jealousy, every little thing that happens which does not sit well with you becomes a terrible annoyance. Everything from your co-worker talking loudly to your favorite website loading slowly becomes a lot more difficult to bear.
You want your partner to never be out of your sight. You do everything you can to prevent yourselves from being away from each other, even for a moment. You make plans to go somewhere or do something without even consulting your partner.
How to overcome jealousy
Just like every problem, before finding a solution, you have to accept that you have a problem in the first place.
- Put yourself in your partner’s shoes
It does not make you fully understand what your partner is doing, but at least it would give you an idea of what he/she is going through because of your jealousy.
- Talk to your partner about your problem
Talk to your partner. Share with them what you are going through and help each other find ways on minimizing the problem and find ways on how to overcome jealousy in your relationship.
